Claudius Schulze is a photographer and researcher. Claudius’ work has appeared in numerous international publications including Geo, Stern, Der Spiegel, National Geographic Traveller, and GQ. His photographs have been exhibited in London, New York, Istanbul, Berlin, and at Rencontres Arles, among others. In 2012, Claudius Schulze was selected as one of Germany’s top 30 journalists under 30. Claudius Schulze studied Political Science and Islamic Studies at Hamburg University and holds a M.A. degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Sabanci University Istanbul and a M.A. with distinction in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism from LCC, University of the Arts London. He is pursuing a PhD. Claudius is currently lecturer in cultural studies at Leuphana University Lüneburg. Claudius is member of the Cloud Appreciation Society. He is living in Hamburg where is building a house boat with own hands.
