Jane Hilton’s first trip to the United States was in 1988 to Arizona. She felt an instant rapport with American culture and has been documenting it ever since. Nearly 30 years later she has made ten documentary films for the BBC and two books published by Schilt Publishing, Dead Eagle Trail, depicting the lifestyle of the twenty-first century, and Precious, featuring intimate nude portraits of working girls in Nevada, both of which are available in print editions.
